  9. I've got a 'Mr Modem' cheap and chearful RPI modem that I've been 
  10. using for a resonable time on Compuserve.  The only problem I 
  11. encountered was during the sending of larger (2K plus) outgoing mail 
  12. messages.  Download worked with no problems.  Compuserve overcame the 
  13. problem by inserting the line 'FlowControl=3' in the CIS.INI file, 
  14. and I had no more problems.

  16. I've now recently moved to AOL, and suprisingly, I have come across 
  17. exactly the same problem again, however, AOL are unable to fix the 
  18. problem.  They say that RPI modems don't work with AOL unless you put 
  19. the speed down to 9600.  Is this really the only solution (other than 
  20. ditching the modem!).  The RHSIComm.Drv was installed with the modem, 
  21. and hasn't been a problem except for AOL.
